# Random vs Super Random

The clearest difference is rating: Random at 4.5 against Super Random's 3.0. Random also leads on ratings volume (2.8K vs 1) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). Super Random's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 14) and iOS requirement (13 vs 16.0). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Random sells 14 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Super Random asks for nothing beyond the download.

Random holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Random has 2.8K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Random ships an update every 3 weeks, Super Random every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
