# Bird Alone vs Wavy

The clearest difference is rating: Bird Alone at 4.8 against Wavy's 3.0. Bird Alone also leads on ratings volume (11K vs 2) and device support (3 vs 1). Wavy's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs every 3 weeks) and review sentiment (100% vs 81%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Bird Alone sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and Wavy sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Bird Alone holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Bird Alone has 11K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 81% of Bird Alone's written reviews are positive against 100% of Wavy's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Bird Alone ships an update every 3 weeks, Wavy every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
