# Super Memo vs Craft

The clearest difference is ads: Craft at none against Super Memo's shown. Craft also leads on ratings volume (6.6K vs 1). Super Memo's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and update cadence (every 5 days vs every 10 days). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Super Memo sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Craft sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Super Memo holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Craft has 6.6K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 85% and 85% positive.

Super Memo ships an update every 5 days, Craft every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
