# Memo vs Sat App

The clearest difference is ads: Sat App at none against Memo's shown. Sat App also leads on iOS requirement (15.0.0 vs 17.0). Memo's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs every 4 months). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Memo sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Sat App sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Memo ships an update every 5 days, Sat App every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
