# Dexel vs DASPI

The clearest difference is rating: DASPI at 4.9 against Dexel's 1.0. DASPI also leads on ratings volume (21 vs 3). Dexel's advantage is update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 28 months) and iOS requirement (8.0 vs 14.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

DASPI holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: DASPI has 21 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Dexel ships an update every 6 weeks, DASPI every 28 months. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
