# Current vs Explore Bermuda

The clearest difference is rating: Explore Bermuda at 5.0 against Current's 4.6. Current's advantage is ratings volume (5 vs 1) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 15.1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Explore Bermuda holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Current has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Current ships an update every 4 months, Explore Bermuda every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on September 25, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
