# Basketball Orbit vs 3

Basketball Orbit and 3 are too close to call on the numbers: across 6 compared parameters — price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases among them — neither pulls far enough ahead to decide it. What separates them is feature set and interface, not measurable difference.

Both are free to download. Basketball Orbit sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days and 3 sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Basketball Orbit ships an update every 3 weeks, 3 fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
