# Basketball Orbit vs Duck Life 3

The clearest difference is rating: Basketball Orbit at 4.8 against Duck Life 3's 4.3. Basketball Orbit also leads on ratings volume (4K vs 18) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). Duck Life 3's advantage is review sentiment (86% vs 58%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Basketball Orbit sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days and Duck Life 3 sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Basketball Orbit holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Basketball Orbit has 4K ratings behind it against 18, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 58% of Basketball Orbit's written reviews are positive against 86% of Duck Life 3's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Basketball Orbit ships an update every 3 weeks, Duck Life 3 every 2 months. Both last shipped on November 2, 2026.
