# DESTY vs Alpaca Tracker

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: DESTY at none against Alpaca Tracker's 1. Alpaca Tracker's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs monthly). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Alpaca Tracker sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. DESTY asks for nothing beyond the download.

DESTY ships an update monthly, Alpaca Tracker fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
