# Westwing vs Shoulder

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Westwing at 997 against Shoulder's 8. Westwing also leads on rating (4.9 vs 4.6) and update cadence (weekly vs fortnightly). Shoulder's advantage is review sentiment (46% vs 30%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Westwing holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Westwing has 997 ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 30% of Westwing's written reviews are positive against 46% of Shoulder's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Westwing ships an update weekly, Shoulder fortnightly. Both last shipped on October 26, 2026.
