# Checklist vs Mindlist

The clearest difference is rating: Mindlist at 4.7 against Checklist's 3.9. Mindlist also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 7 months) and ratings volume (1.6K vs 31). Checklist's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1) and iOS requirement (11.4 vs 17.0). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Mindlist sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Checklist asks for nothing beyond the download.

Mindlist holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Mindlist has 1.6K ratings behind it against 31, so its average is the more settled of the two.
