# BBQ Cooking Chef vs LINE CHEF

The clearest difference is rating: LINE CHEF at 4.7 against BBQ Cooking Chef's 3.7. LINE CHEF also leads on ratings volume (452 vs 19). BBQ Cooking Chef's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 34) and ads (none vs shown). On price, review sentiment and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. LINE CHEF sells 34 one-off in-app purchases. BBQ Cooking Chef asks for nothing beyond the download.

LINE CHEF holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: LINE CHEF has 452 ratings behind it against 19, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 52% of BBQ Cooking Chef's written reviews are positive against 47% of LINE CHEF's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
