# Solitaire vs Solitaire Master

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Solitaire Master at 88% against Solitaire's 71%. Solitaire Master also leads on update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 3 months) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). Solitaire's advantage is ratings volume (2.2K vs 123) and rating (4.8 vs 4.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Solitaire sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Solitaire Master sells 11 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Solitaire holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Solitaire has 2.2K ratings behind it against 123, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 71% of Solitaire's written reviews are positive against 88% of Solitaire Master's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Solitaire ships an update every 3 months, Solitaire Master every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
