# Related Connect vs Epic Charging

Related Connect and Epic Charging both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 66% of Epic Charging's written reviews are positive against 15% of Related Connect's. Related Connect's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and ratings volume (1.7K vs 518). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Related Connect holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 1.7K and 518 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 15% of Related Connect's written reviews are positive against 66% of Epic Charging's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Related Connect ships an update every 6 weeks, Epic Charging every 5 weeks. Both last shipped on October 25, 2026.
