# Deep Fried vs ArtsBreak

The clearest difference is ads: Deep Fried at none against ArtsBreak's shown. Deep Fried also leads on ratings volume (3.9K vs 94) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 13.0). ArtsBreak's advantage is review sentiment (74% vs 48%) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Deep Fried sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and ArtsBreak sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ArtsBreak holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Deep Fried has 3.9K ratings behind it against 94, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 48% of Deep Fried's written reviews are positive against 74% of ArtsBreak's.

Deep Fried ships an update every 2 months, ArtsBreak fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
