# Row House vs Rowing Machine Workouts

The clearest difference is update cadence: Rowing Machine Workouts at every 6 days against Row House's every 5 weeks. Rowing Machine Workouts also leads on review sentiment (87% vs 69%). Row House's advantage is ratings volume (8.4K vs 353) and rating (4.9 vs 4.7). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Row House sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per month and Rowing Machine Workouts sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Row House holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Row House has 8.4K ratings behind it against 353, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 69% of Row House's written reviews are positive against 87% of Rowing Machine Workouts's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Row House ships an update every 5 weeks, Rowing Machine Workouts every 6 days. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
