# Bakell® vs WebstaurantStore

Bakell® and WebstaurantStore both sit at 5.0 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Bakell®'s written reviews are positive against 69% of WebstaurantStore's. Bakell® also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and device support (3 vs 1). WebstaurantStore's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (4.3K vs 28). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Bakell® against 4.9 for WebstaurantStore. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: WebstaurantStore has 4.3K ratings behind it against 28, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 100% of Bakell®'s written reviews are positive against 69% of WebstaurantStore's.

Bakell® ships an update every 3 months, WebstaurantStore fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
