# Amplenote vs Noree

The clearest difference is rating: Noree at 5.0 against Amplenote's 4.6. Amplenote's advantage is ratings volume (492 vs 1) and update cadence (weekly vs monthly). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Amplenote sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month and Noree sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Noree holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Amplenote has 492 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Amplenote ships an update weekly, Noree monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
