# Rainbow Countdown vs Tasky

The clearest difference is price: Tasky at Free against Rainbow Countdown's $0.99. Tasky also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.3) and ads (none vs shown). Rainbow Countdown's advantage is ratings volume (13 vs 1) and device support (3 vs 1). On in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Tasky is free to download; Rainbow Countdown costs $0.99 up front. Rainbow Countdown sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and Tasky sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Tasky holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Rainbow Countdown has 13 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Rainbow Countdown ships an update every 3 weeks, Tasky every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on September 24, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
