# TORK vs Intermatic Connect

The clearest difference is rating: TORK at 4.7 against Intermatic Connect's 3.6. TORK also leads on ratings volume (225 vs 9) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 18.0). Intermatic Connect's advantage is update cadence (every 2 months vs every 9 months). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

TORK holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TORK has 225 ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 22% of TORK's written reviews are positive against 29% of Intermatic Connect's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

TORK ships an update every 9 months, Intermatic Connect every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and September 29, 2026 respectively.
