# The Unic vs Line Up

The clearest difference is rating: The Unic at 4.3 against Line Up's 3.0. The Unic also leads on ratings volume (44 vs 2). Line Up's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. The Unic sells 12 one-off in-app purchases and Line Up sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

The Unic holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: The Unic has 44 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

The Unic ships an update every 2 months, Line Up every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
