# Traffic Brains vs Crazy Traffic Control

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Traffic Brains at 100% against Crazy Traffic Control's 29%. Traffic Brains also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 4) and ads (none vs shown). Crazy Traffic Control's advantage is update cadence (every 2 months vs every 20 months) and rating (4.2 vs 3.8). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Crazy Traffic Control sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Traffic Brains asks for nothing beyond the download.

Crazy Traffic Control holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Crazy Traffic Control has 1.7K ratings behind it against 21, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Traffic Brains's written reviews are positive against 29% of Crazy Traffic Control's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Traffic Brains ships an update every 20 months, Crazy Traffic Control every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
