# Rentroom vs FactSet

The clearest difference is rating: FactSet at 4.6 against Rentroom's 2.6. FactSet also leads on ratings volume (369 vs 98). Rentroom's advantage is review sentiment (61% vs 19%) and monetization model (free vs subscription). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

FactSet holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 2.6. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 98 and 369 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 61% of Rentroom's written reviews are positive against 19% of FactSet's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Rentroom ships an update monthly, FactSet every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
