# Memorize By Heart vs Red Sheet

The clearest difference is rating: Memorize By Heart at 4.8 against Red Sheet's 4.2. Memorize By Heart also leads on ratings volume (2.5K vs 5). Red Sheet's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs every 2 weeks) and device support (4 vs 2). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Memorize By Heart sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Red Sheet sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Memorize By Heart holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Memorize By Heart has 2.5K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 76% of Memorize By Heart's written reviews are positive against 78% of Red Sheet's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Memorize By Heart ships an update every 2 weeks, Red Sheet every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
