# BahnBonus vs NAVIT

The clearest difference is monetization model: NAVIT at free against BahnBonus's free with in-app purchases. NAVIT also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 5 weeks). BahnBonus's advantage is review sentiment (75% vs 51%) and ratings volume (243 vs 13). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.5 for BahnBonus against 4.5 for NAVIT. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: BahnBonus has 243 ratings behind it against 13, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 75% of BahnBonus's written reviews are positive against 51% of NAVIT's.

BahnBonus ships an update every 5 weeks, NAVIT fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
