The clearest difference is rating: GroGuru InSites at 5.0 against Scale's 4.1. GroGuru InSites also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 3 months) and iOS requirement (11.1 vs 16.6). Scale's advantage is ratings volume (14 vs 2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.
