# Scale vs Perfect Udder

The clearest difference is rating: Perfect Udder at 5.0 against Scale's 4.1. Perfect Udder also leads on update cadence (every 2 months vs every 3 months) and iOS requirement (14.0 vs 16.6). Scale's advantage is ratings volume (14 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Perfect Udder holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Scale has 14 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Scale ships an update every 3 months, Perfect Udder every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
