# Mountex vs wigo carsharing

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Mountex at 100% against wigo carsharing's 41%. Mountex also leads on monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.6). wigo carsharing's advantage is rating (4.6 vs 4.0) and ads (none vs shown). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

wigo carsharing holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: wigo carsharing has 14 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Mountex's written reviews are positive against 41% of wigo carsharing's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
