Monad Calendar Clock's advantage is rating (3.7 vs 3.0) and update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 12 months). On ads, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Mars Climate is free to download; Monad Calendar Clock costs $0.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Monad Calendar Clock holds the better App Store score, 3.7 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Monad Calendar Clock has 14 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 22% of Monad Calendar Clock's written reviews are positive against 50% of Mars Climate's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
