# ExecOnline vs NovoEd

The clearest difference is rating: ExecOnline at 4.2 against NovoEd's 3.9. NovoEd's advantage is review sentiment (33% vs 25%). On price, ratings volume, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

ExecOnline holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 3.9. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 23 and 21 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 25% of ExecOnline's written reviews are positive against 33% of NovoEd's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

ExecOnline ships an update every 3 weeks, NovoEd every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
