# Hear Boost vs GoodMicPlus

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: GoodMicPlus at none against Hear Boost's 10. GoodMicPlus also leads on iOS requirement (10.0 vs 17.6). Hear Boost's advantage is ratings volume (12K vs 27) and rating (4.2 vs 3.9). On price, review sentiment, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Hear Boost sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. GoodMicPlus asks for nothing beyond the download.

Hear Boost holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Hear Boost has 12K ratings behind it against 27, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Hear Boost's written reviews are positive against 57% of GoodMicPlus's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
