# Smilelicity vs Preteeth AI Pro

The clearest difference is rating: Preteeth AI Pro at 5.0 against Smilelicity's 3.0. Preteeth AI Pro also leads on monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription). Smilelicity's advantage is review sentiment (60% vs 33%) and update cadence (every 8 days vs every 3 weeks). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Smilelicity sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $9.99 per month and Preteeth AI Pro sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $19.00 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Preteeth AI Pro holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 4 and 2 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 60% of Smilelicity's written reviews are positive against 33% of Preteeth AI Pro's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Smilelicity ships an update every 8 days, Preteeth AI Pro every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
