# Double vs Supernotes

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Double at none against Supernotes's 3. Supernotes's advantage is ratings volume (122 vs 16). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Supernotes sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $11.00 per month. Double asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for Double against 4.8 for Supernotes. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Supernotes has 122 ratings behind it against 16, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Double ships an update every 6 weeks, Supernotes monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
