# MHGU Database vs Prokedex

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: MHGU Database at none against Prokedex's 2. MHGU Database also leads on ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (91% vs 82%). Prokedex's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 5 months). On price, rating and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Prokedex sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. MHGU Database asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for MHGU Database against 4.8 for Prokedex.
