# HE.FMX vs EMF Radar

The clearest difference is update cadence: EMF Radar at every 2 months against HE.FMX's every 42 months. HE.FMX's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

HE.FMX ships an update every 42 months, EMF Radar every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
