# Mint Printer vs Imation Photo Printer

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Imation Photo Printer at 100% against Mint Printer's 25%. Imation Photo Printer also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 12.0). Mint Printer's advantage is rating (4.6 vs 4.0) and ratings volume (4.8K vs 6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Mint Printer holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Mint Printer has 4.8K ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 25% of Mint Printer's written reviews are positive against 100% of Imation Photo Printer's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Mint Printer ships an update every 2 months, Imation Photo Printer every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
