# Mint Printer vs INSTAX Pal

Mint Printer and INSTAX Pal both sit at 4.6 stars, but that hides the real split: 59% of INSTAX Pal's written reviews are positive against 25% of Mint Printer's. Mint Printer's advantage is monetization model (free vs ad-supported) and ratings volume (4.8K vs 717). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

INSTAX Pal holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Mint Printer has 4.8K ratings behind it against 717, so its average is the more settled of the two.
