# MyNextbase Connect vs Drive Recorder 360

The clearest difference is rating: MyNextbase Connect at 3.9 against Drive Recorder 360's 1.0. MyNextbase Connect also leads on ratings volume (853 vs 2) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 6 months). Drive Recorder 360's advantage is review sentiment (50% vs 11%) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

MyNextbase Connect holds the better App Store score, 3.9 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MyNextbase Connect has 853 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 11% of MyNextbase Connect's written reviews are positive against 50% of Drive Recorder 360's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

MyNextbase Connect ships an update every 2 months, Drive Recorder 360 every 6 months. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
