# ManageBac vs AUC

The clearest difference is rating: AUC at 4.4 against ManageBac's 4.0. ManageBac's advantage is review sentiment (19% vs 0%) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 5 weeks). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

AUC holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 169 and 48 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 19% of ManageBac's written reviews are positive against 0% of AUC's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

ManageBac ships an update every 2 weeks, AUC every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
