# ManageBac vs School Cloud

The clearest difference is rating: ManageBac at 4.1 against School Cloud's 2.9. ManageBac also leads on ratings volume (158 vs 7). School Cloud's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs every 2 weeks) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

ManageBac holds the better App Store score, 4.1 against 2.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ManageBac has 158 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two.
