# Tonal vs Win Within V2

The clearest difference is monetization model: Win Within V2 at free against Tonal's free with in-app purchases. Win Within V2 also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 3 weeks). Tonal's advantage is ratings volume (11K vs 2) and iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.5). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Tonal against 5.0 for Win Within V2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Tonal has 11K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Tonal ships an update every 3 weeks, Win Within V2 weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 26, 2026 respectively.
