# DJI Pilot vs Drone Harmony Mobile

The clearest difference is update cadence: Drone Harmony Mobile at every 6 weeks against DJI Pilot's every 5 months. Drone Harmony Mobile also leads on monetization model (free vs ad-supported). DJI Pilot's advantage is ratings volume (174 vs 6) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 14.0). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 2.1 for DJI Pilot against 2.0 for Drone Harmony Mobile. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: DJI Pilot has 174 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 9% and 9% positive.

DJI Pilot ships an update every 5 months, Drone Harmony Mobile every 6 weeks. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
