# Agenda Timer vs Silly Caps

The clearest difference is rating: Silly Caps at 5.0 against Agenda Timer's 3.4. Agenda Timer's advantage is ratings volume (10 vs 2) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Agenda Timer sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $2.99 per year and Silly Caps sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Silly Caps holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Agenda Timer has 10 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Agenda Timer ships an update every 6 months, Silly Caps every 11 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
