# Tricky Bridge vs Bridge Scoring Helper

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Bridge Scoring Helper at none against Tricky Bridge's 5. Tricky Bridge's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 86 months) and rating (4.9 vs 4.5). On price, review sentiment and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Tricky Bridge sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Bridge Scoring Helper asks for nothing beyond the download.

Tricky Bridge holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Tricky Bridge has 4.5K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 92% of Tricky Bridge's written reviews are positive against 100% of Bridge Scoring Helper's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Tricky Bridge ships an update fortnightly, Bridge Scoring Helper every 86 months. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
