# Flip Puzzle vs Fun Board 3D

The clearest difference is rating: Fun Board 3D at 4.4 against Flip Puzzle's 3.4. Fun Board 3D also leads on ratings volume (8.3K vs 36). Flip Puzzle's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (40% vs 8%). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Fun Board 3D holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 3.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Fun Board 3D has 8.3K ratings behind it against 36, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 40% of Flip Puzzle's written reviews are positive against 8% of Fun Board 3D's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
