# Planable vs Rigzilla

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Rigzilla at 100% against Planable's 27%. Rigzilla also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6) and monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases). Planable's advantage is ratings volume (227 vs 2) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Rigzilla holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Planable has 227 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 27% of Planable's written reviews are positive against 100% of Rigzilla's.

Planable ships an update fortnightly, Rigzilla every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
