# MaintainX vs Relay | Admin

The clearest difference is monetization model: Relay | Admin at free against MaintainX's free with in-app purchases. MaintainX's advantage is ratings volume (5.9K vs 2). On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for MaintainX against 5.0 for Relay | Admin. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MaintainX has 5.9K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.
