# OCMCA Protocols vs C

The clearest difference is update cadence: C at every 8 days against OCMCA Protocols's every 8 months. OCMCA Protocols's advantage is iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

OCMCA Protocols ships an update every 8 months, C every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
