# LecToGo vs Palettio

The clearest difference is rating: Palettio at 5.0 against LecToGo's 2.3. Palettio also leads on ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). LecToGo's advantage is ratings volume (7 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.6 vs 17.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Palettio holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: LecToGo has 7 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
