# NovoEd vs Lore App

The clearest difference is rating: Lore App at 5.0 against NovoEd's 3.9. Lore App also leads on iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.6). NovoEd's advantage is ratings volume (21 vs 1) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 6 weeks). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Lore App holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: NovoEd has 21 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

NovoEd ships an update every 2 weeks, Lore App every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
